Day 1 - Cairo

Meeting, assistance and transfer to hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2 -Egyptian Museum • Old Cairo • Church of St. Sergius • Ben Ezra Synagogue • Mosque of Mohammed Ali • Citadel of Saladin • Khan El-Khalili Bazaar

Visit to the Egyptian Museum; see the extraordinary treasures of Tutankhamen and the fascinating Mummy Room. Lunch at the historic Mena House Hotel. Continue to Giza to see the 3 Great Pyramids; enter one of the Great Pyramids. Enjoy a camel ride before continuing to the Solar Boat Museum; see the oldest known ship in the world. Stand in awe at the magnificent Sphinx, guarding the Giza plateau. Evening: Dinner Cruise & Show on the elegant Nile Maxim Boat.

Day 3 - Memphis • Sakkara • Pyramids • Solar Boat • Sphinx • Karnak Bazaar

Located at the apex of the Nile delta and 12 miles south of Cairo visit Memphis and view the palace of Apries and the colossus statue of Ramses II.  Nearby, Sakkara is best known for the Step Pyramid ― the oldest known of Egypt’s 97 pyramids.  This afternoon, get a close look at the three largest Pyramids, view the Solar Boat and stand next to the Sphinx!  Conclude the day at the Karnak Bazaar where regardless whether you have a little or a lot to spend – there’s something for everyone!  Farewell overnight in Cairo.

Day 4 - Cairo AirportTransfer to the Cairo Airport for return flight(s).  Or, extend to one of our many other destinations.
